Role Purpose

As a Global Admissions Officer at GEA, you will play a key role in managing the complete admissions lifecycle for students applying to universities and colleges worldwide. You will be responsible for ensuring that every application is processed with accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with partner institutions’ requirements.

The role demands exceptional attention to detail, operational discipline, and strong coordination with GEA’s recruitment teams, partner relations managers, and institutional partners.

The ideal candidate is an organized, service-focused professional who takes pride in accuracy, consistency, and timely turnaround — ensuring every application meets the highest quality standards and supports GEA’s commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end admissions process for students across multiple destinations and partner universities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness in application submission.
  • Conduct comprehensive document verification and quality checks to ensure all information provided is valid, accurate, and aligned with institutional requirements.
  • Enter, update, and maintain student application data in the CRM and institutional portals while ensuring information integrity and confidentiality at all times.
  • Liaise closely with internal recruitment, partner relations, and operations teams to coordinate application progress, resolve queries, and provide real-time updates on admission outcomes.
  • Monitor application turnaround times and take proactive steps to minimize delays while maintaining exceptional service standards.
  • Track and report admissions metrics, generate regular reports on performance, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of partner university requirements, application portals, and destination-specific guidelines, ensuring compliance and alignment across all stakeholders.
  • Participate in admissions process audits, training, and team knowledge-sharing sessions to uphold consistency and best practices across the regional and global admissions network.
  • Support the global admissions leadership in implementing new systems, automation initiatives, and process improvements to strengthen operational workflows.
  • Adhere strictly to data privacy, confidentiality, and compliance standards, ensuring GEA’s information management and quality frameworks are met at all times.

Demonstrated Knowledge and Experience

  • 1-3 years of progressive experience in international admissions, enrolment processing, or student application management within an education agency, edtech, or institutional university.
  • Proven track record of managing large application volumes across multiple destinations and partner institutions with speed and accuracy.
  • Experience with CRM systems and university admissions portals.
  • Strong understanding of the international higher education ecosystem, including program structures, documentation requirements, and institutional compliance.
  • Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex cases and identify solutions efficiently.
  • Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively across teams, both regionally and globally, maintaining professionalism and consistency under pressure.
  • Technical Skills and Qualifications

  • Graduate degree (any discipline);
  • a postgraduate qualification in management, administration, or education is an advantage.

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with data management systems.
  • Working knowledge of CRM platforms and document management systems .
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English;
  • ability to handle professional correspondence with global stakeholders.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving processes, new systems, and fast-paced global workflows.
