Job Description

As a Senior WordPress Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining high-quality WordPress websites. You will work closely with our design and development teams to translate Figma designs into fully functional WordPress themes, build custom CMS modules using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), and ensure the technical feasibility of UI / UX designs. Additionally, you will contribute to planning tickets, perform code reviews, and mentor junior developers.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom WordPress themes from scratch, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
• Use Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to create flexible and user-friendly CMS modules.
• Collaborate with designers to translate Figma designs into WordPress themes.
• Collaborate with other developers and project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Participate in sprint planning, ticket estimation, and Agile development processes.
• Perform code reviews to ensure best practices, code quality, and maintainability.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth website functionality.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and technologies.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Requirements :
• At least 5 years of experience in Wordpress development.
• Strong understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Knowledge of CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS).
• Extensive experience with theme development and customization.
• Experience working with Figma or similar design tools to implement designs into WordPress.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and web standards.
• Strong Understand of Component Based Development.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Have the ability to work on multiple projects at once.
• You have a willingness to learn new technologies as the industry changes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
