Role Overview
As part of the Founder’s Office, the Strategy Lead will work directly with the founders to shape Attero’s growth agenda. This role blends market intelligence, international business expansion, joint ventures, M&A evaluation, and strategic projects execution . It offers a unique opportunity to influence high-stakes decisions at the intersection of sustainability, technology, and global business.
Key Responsibilities
- Market & Industry Research
- Conduct in-depth market analysis on e-waste, lithium-ion battery recycling, and critical minerals across India and global markets.
- Track competitor moves, technology disruptions, and regulatory trends.
- Build data-driven TAM / SAM / SOM models to guide expansion strategies.
- Joint Ventures & Partnerships
- Identify potential partners (OEMs, recyclers, metal refiners, utilities, logistics).
- Build business cases and synergy models for JV opportunities.
- Support deal structuring, negotiations, and strategic alignment with Attero’s goals.
- M&A and Investment Research
- Maintain a pipeline of strategic acquisition targets in India and overseas.
- Conduct commercial, financial, and operational due diligence.
- Develop post-merger integration blueprints to ensure synergy capture.
- International Expansion
- Drive market entry analysis for Europe, US, SE Asia, and Middle East.
- Prepare country risk, regulation, and financial models for new facilities.
- Work with local advisors and partners to structure deals and operating models.
- Founder’s Office Strategic Projects
- Prepare investor and board materials on market positioning and strategic moves.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, Policy, BD) for execution of high-priority projects.
- Lead 0→1 pilots in new business lines (e.g., magnet recycling, black mass refining ).
Key Qualifications
2–3 years in Strategy Consulting, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Corporate Strategy (industrial / clean tech preferred).Exposure to M&A, JVs, market entry, or policy-driven industries .Exceptional analytical, financial modeling, and research skills.Ability to synthesize complex data into crisp recommendations for senior leadership.Entrepreneurial mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to execute fast.Why Join Attero?
