Role Overview
Xiaomi India is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Manager – Financial Operations & Projects to strengthen our finance backbone and drive operational excellence. This role will lead key financial processes, enhance automation and control frameworks, and spearhead finance transformation initiatives that align with Xiaomi’s vision for innovation and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Financial Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing, reporting, and analysis.
- Standardize and streamline finance processes across business units for consistency and efficiency.
- Partner with Taxation, Treasury, Procurement, and Business Finance to ensure seamless operational flow. Finance Transformation & Projects
- Lead automation and digital finance initiatives including ERP enhancements, RPA, and data analytics integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end finance transformation projects.
- Build and track project plans, milestones, budgets, and ROI to ensure timely delivery.
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and scalability within the finance ecosystem. Process Controls & Compliance
- Implement and strengthen internal control systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure adherence to Ind-AS / IFRS standards, company policies, and statutory guidelines.
- Manage internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
Business Partnering & Leadership
Partner with senior business leaders to provide financial insights and enable data-driven decision-making.Drive collaboration across departments to ensure alignment between business objectives and financial operations.Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team focused on innovation and operational excellence.Qualifications & Experience
Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institute.8–12 years of post-qualification experience in finance operations, controllership, or finance transformation roles.Strong understanding of Ind-AS, accounting controls, financial reporting, and audit processes.Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Netsuite) and finance automation tools (Power BI, Alteryx, RPA).Demonstrated experience in driving process improvement or digital transformation projects.Key Skills & Attributes
