Roles and Responsibilities

As the Technical Lead you manage the BI team and prioritize projects; you will oversee the technical execution of BI projects encompassing research, design and implementation of data platforms, data pipelines, data models, reports / dashboards and data-driven applications. You will design and implement processes to mitigate data quality issues. As a leader you find it rewarding to mentor and bring out the best in a talented team of ETL, QA, Reporting, data Analysts and Data Visualization engineers. And as a good collaborator you will work closely with the other development teams within organization to plan, coordinate, and deliver according to a high-level data roadmap.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Develop dashboards, customized reports and scorecards based on business requirements
• Collaborate with the rest of the Data Services team in various zones and geographies across the globe to gather requirements from business and translate them into technical solutions.
• Build compelling story, new product features and actionable insights using Data
• Manage ad hoc analytics requests for OLTP and OLAP systems in an accurate and efficient manner.
• Responsible for reviewing and optimization of SQL queries and investigating database performance issues.
• Support Predictive Modeling, Forecasting and mentor young team consisting of data engineers, data visualization experts and data analytics professionals.
• Strong experience with cloud services within Azure, AWS, or GCP platforms (preferably Azure)
• Strong experience with analytical tools (preferably SQL, dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, Tableau)
• Experience with design and software programming development (preferably Python, Javascript and / or R)
• Experience building APIs (experience with GraphQL is a plus)
• Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI / CD processes
• Experience in Agile methodologies (certifications preferred)
