Job description

Responsibilities

  • Identifies, grows, and maintains strategic relationship with client personnel, including Internal stakeholders management.
  • Responsible for managing client expectations and delivering difficult messages when necessary to keep project delivery on course.
  • Identifies areas of risk on engagements and develops plans to manage those risks.
  • Drives the vision of the project solution.
  • Prepares formal and informal presentations for client meetings.
  • Identifies new business opportunities and communicates such opportunities to his / her engagement superiors.
  • Guides, manages, and assists in multiple project-level efforts to apply, roll-out, configure various changes within multiple methodologies including Agile methodologies.
  • Performs gap and data analysis in support of identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Leads Agile meetings, creates user stories and discovery workshops for custom IT solutions.
  • Conducts current state assessments of business processes and supporting systems.
  • Acts as liaison between change requester and software development team. Addresses development team needs efficiently and effectively; creates release timelines and plans; coaches team on solution delivery, change management, and risk mitigation.
  • Leads, coaches, and educates the scrum team in applying concepts and principles and staying focused on quality, predictability, flow and velocity of development.
  • Strong leadership skills in facilitating meetings with developers, including scrum meetings and retrospective meetings, by providing functional clarification, setting delivery expectations with the team and client, and managing the budget.
  • Supports the projects on-time delivery, finds and eliminates impediments, actively addresses issues, and builds a high-performing, continuous improvement team environment.
  • Manages all time input and billing activities ensuring completion in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Shift timing : 2 : 00 PM IST to 11 : 00 PM IST.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

  • Supervises the day-to-day workload of the team on assigned engagements and reviews work product.
  • Acts as mentor to team, as appropriate
  • Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    Education :

  • Bachelor s degree in business or information technology.
  • Certification :

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), preferred.
  • Experience :

  • Eight (8) or more years of professional experience leading agile project, technical solution projects, strategic or integration / implementation of varied IT solutions, required.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience with agile development life cycle and demonstrate success leading multiple project teams to completion while mitigating risks, required.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience as a Scrum master, required.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience as a Scrum Master, leading software development teams and facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including coaching meetings with internal teams, required.
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, documentation, risk management and communication skills, required.
  • Strong project planning, scoping, and management skills, required.
  • Strong business process analysis & design and process flow skills, required.
  • Client facing consulting experience, preferred.
  • Previous experience in managing scope, timeline or budget, preferred.
  • Software :

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; specifically, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, required.
  • Azure DevOps, required
  • JIRA, Smartsheets, MS Project, Visio or any other project mapping tool, preferred.
  • Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

  • A track record of managing projects within a software solution environment.
  • Capacity to work in a deadline-driven environment while handling multiple projects / tasks simultaneously with a focus on details.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, along with strong facilitation and collaboration skills
  • Excels at operating in a fast-paced technical environment.
  • Ability to solve problems, identify solutions, and appropriately escalate issues.
  • Must be open to local travel to the client site as needed.
