Job Overview

Modifies applications programs from detailed specifications. Codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains those programs.

Essential Functions

• Participates in the development and maintenance of software applications requiring general knowledge and developing business expertise.
• Supports in determining the requirements and / or necessary modifications for custom applications and systems design specifications.
• Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
• Completes detailed documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
• Identifies and implements root cause fixes to program, system and / or applications errors.
• Can work collaboratively and efficiently across functional teams in a fast-paced environment, may be asked to handle medium tasks under regular supervision.
• Assists with performing source control, code reviews, continuous integration, and unit tests.
• Assists in improving infrastructure and application development.
• Helps to provide input on the establishment of development best practices and standards for the organization.
