Job Title : Jr. Electrical Design Engineer- MV design

Qualifications : BE / B Tech (Electrical)

Experience : 3-6 years

Desired : AVEVA Electrical, AutoCAD Electricals, AVEVA Instrumentation, ETAP / PSCAD, SKM, Dialux, Design analysis, Oil Gas Experience, Plant engineering experience.

Location : Pune

Responsibilities

• Load List, Feeder Lists, Cable Sizing Calculations, transformer Sizing calculations, CT / VT Sizing calculations, Relay setting and coordination study, Earthing Sizing Calculations, Tray Loading, Lighting System calculations, Bus duct sizing, Busbar Sizing
• Strong Experience designing mid voltage controls panel including switchgear panels, MCC and relay panels.
• Knowledge of protection relays, ACBs, SF6 breaker, VCB
• Performing small Feasibility studies for appropriate specification finalization. Strong communication skills.
• Layouts-Cable Raceways, Grounding and Shielding System, Electrical Equipment Layout- Substations, Transformer yards, Switchgear Rooms, Hazardous areas.
• Preparation of Bill of materials for major equipment and bulk items for hazardous and safe areas.
• Experience in the field of Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil Gas, Industries projects etc.
• Single Line Diagrams, Protection, Schematics diagram preparation.
• Communications, meetings, coordination with multidisciplinary engineering team, professional consultants, vendors, suppliers, contractors.
• Technical Competencies for the Job
• Short circuit analysis, Arc flash studies, relay coordination.
• Power Distribution system
• Substation package design knowledge
• MV Switchgear, MVMCC, EMS,
• Communication system, Fire alarm system, Cathodic protection system
• Grounding and lighting protection system
• Cable / Wiring for 4.16kV cables
• Working experience in multidisciplinary EPC environment.
• Hands on with design engineering of MW scale industrial / process plant / energy / power generation / oil and gas / TD projects.
• Ability to Make deliverables from scratch.
• Proactiveness and agility to work in start-up industry.
• Flexible to handle tasks given beyond defined responsibilities as per project needs.
• Accustomed to work on fast-track projects with high time commitments.
• Ability to deliver on multiple tasks / projects simultaneously.
• Ability to understand and implement the fast track and intricate technological developments in Hydrogen ecosystem.
• Good knowledge of Electrical Codes and Standards (IEC, IEEE, IS) and their implementation in day-to-day deliverables.
• High level of proficiency in MS office tools like MS Office, MS Excel.
• Shall have knowledge of power system studies e.g. Short Circuit current calculation, Load flow study Harmonic analysis and software's like ETAP.
