Jabil - Quality Assurance Test Engineer - API Testing

Description : About the Role :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Test Engineer to join our quality assurance team.

In this role, you will be responsible for testing web, mobile, or API-based applications to ensure a high-quality product.

You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to identify defects early in the software development lifecycle and help maintain high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Analyze business and technical requirements and develop test plans and test cases accordingly.
• Perform manual testing of web and / or mobile applications to validate functionality, usability, and performance.
• Execute various testing types such as functional, regression, smoke, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Document and track bugs using tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts (basic automation knowledge expected).
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives as part of Agile teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage and quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct basic API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
• Contribute to improving QA processes and documentation.
