Head - RM Procurement (Only 24h Left)

Job Purpose : -

The position is responsible for formulating sourcing strategies and lead the procurement for raw material, chemicals, packing materials, engineering items etc. so as to achieve defined quality standards, delivery timelines and costs targets.

A) SOURCING

1) Responsible for Timely Sourcing of material as per the plan to ensure Production activities are not hampered

2)Ensuring preparation of purchase / work orders (related to respective vertical) as per defined SOP / authorization once purchase requisitions are released

3)Facilitating to arrange the replacement of rejected materials

4) Ensure complete compliance and recording for Job works with proper reconciliation

5) Interfacing with cross-functional departments for ascertaining procurement plans

6) Establishing price points and specifications for contracts and negotiating with vendors for products and services

Vendor Management & Development

1)Reviews supplier financial statements / reports and evaluate overall supplier health (supplier risk assessment)

2)Review and Conduct performance evaluation for vendors as per defined guidelines within defined frequency. Generation of vendor evaluation records.

3) New / Alternative Vendor development to address business needs

Inventory Management

Review inventory levels and monitor stock accuracy towards better inventory planning

Product Development

1) Work on development of various alternative products for better quality and cost effectiveness

MIS / Reporting

1)Timely Responding to any Queries raised by any Department pertaining to procuring the items & reverting on the mails in case of any issues or discrepancies

2)Implement of Procurement automation process & Generating MIS reports on key metrics, inventory reports, import & domestic PO, export operations & others, price trends.

Please note PVC sourcing experience is a MUST.
