Are you passionate about shaping young minds and making a positive impact on the future? St Joseph's School, West Hindmarsh are on the lookout for a dedicated and dynamic Primary Years Teacher (Year 3-6) to join our community and make a difference!
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following :
Active support of and contribution to the Catholic Identity and Josephite Charism of St Joseph’s School
A deep knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and Crossways and utilise contemporary and engaging pedagogies which promote high levels of engagement and quality outcomes for all learners
Excellent skills in using data effectively to inform learning design which supports all learners to progress
Creation of a dynamic and flexible learning environment that is engaging and inclusive of all students
An excellent understanding and use of restorative practices, trauma aware practices and effective strategies to assist students to self-regulate and develop skills of personal responsibility and positive wellbeing.
Be able to work successfully in a high functioning team of educators, sharing professional innovation for improved outcomes for all learners
Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills and the development of positive and collaborative relationships with colleagues, students and families
Knowledge and experience in the Playberry Laser Multisensory Literacy program is desirable but not essential.
About You
As a dynamic and enthusiastic educator you will have -
Willingness to actively and positively uphold and contribute to the culture and ethos of the school
Current Teacher Registration in South Australia
Undertaken or are willing to undertake teacher accreditation in Catholic Education SA
Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience relevant to the role requirements
High level interpersonal skills to interact positively with the school community
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to work collaboratively within a team environment and effectively teach students to achieve required learning outcomes
