Job Description :

We are seeking a Test Project Manager (PM) to support the Testing Manager on a large-scale GMI replacement programme. The role will focus on coordinating end-to-end testing activities, ensuring readiness across stakeholders, and driving successful execution of the testing strategy. This is a critical role in a high-profile transformation programme impacting futures and listed derivatives businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with the Testing Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee all testing activities for the GMI to XTP migration.
Manage test planning, execution tracking, defect triage, and reporting across multiple workstreams.
Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with Operations, Product, and Technology stakeholders.
Maintain clear test governance, documentation, and adherence to programme timelines.
Support environment planning, data readiness, and cutover simulation testing.
Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating and driving mitigations.
Ensure business users, product managers, and operations are fully engaged in test cycles.
Produce status reporting for senior stakeholders, highlighting progress, blockers, and readiness for migration.

Skills & Experience

Strong background in

test / project management

within large-scale technology or transformation programmes within a Tier 1 Bank.

Markets experience is preferred, ideally in Futures and listed derivatives Operations or Product functions.

Demonstrated experience coordinating testing cycles, defect management, and test governance.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across business, operations, and technology.

Experience with migration programmes (e.g., GMI, XTP, or other post-trade platforms) preferred.

Ability to work under pressure in a time-critical environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Business, or Technology preferred).

ISTQB or equivalent testing certification advantageous.

Project management qualification (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile) desirable.
