DataWeave - Technical Lead - Distributed Systems

About the Role :

We are hiring a hands-on Technical Lead with strong expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and Kubernetes. You will lead an engineering team, design scalable cloud-native platforms, and drive engineering excellence using AI-assisted development Responsibilities :

• Design & implement cloud-native microservices architectures on Kubernetes (EKS / AKS)
• Build & optimize large-scale distributed systems ensuring high availability & fault tolerance
• Drive adoption of AI-powered development tools (GitHub Copilot, Tabnine, etc.)
• Conduct design & code reviews to ensure best practices
• Collaborate with product & business teams to align technical direction
• Lead, mentor & grow the engineering :
• 6+ years experience in building and scaling distributed systems in production
• Strong knowledge of microservices, APIs, and event-driven systems
• Proven experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production
• Deep understanding of messaging, fault tolerance, consensus, consistency
• Proficient in at least two programming languages (Python, Node.js, etc.)
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure & security best practices
• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry
