Desktop Solutions Architect

The ideal candidate will report into the Desktop Packaging Lead, and ensure the successful development of software applications across various platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of desktop internals for both Windows and Mac environments, as well as expertise in modern packaging technologies and deployment solutions.

Essential Functions of the Role

• Design and develop software packages using tools such as PowerShell Application Deployment Toolkit (PSADT), MSIX, SCCM, Intune, and Munki.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure that application packaging meets business needs and compliance standards.
• Develop and maintain packaging standards, templates, best practices, and documentation to ensure consistency and quality in software deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve packaging and deployment issues, providing technical guidance and support to team members.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in application packaging and deployment technologies;

and recommend improvements to existing processes.
