Senior Merchandise Planner

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Merchandiser (SAMPLING & PRODUCTION) for a growing production workshop and export house unit in Gurgaon, producing high-end contemporary women’s apparel.

Applicants should have a minimum of eight years experience in the garment industry and an understanding of fabric and design with experience in product development, trim sheets, pattern coordination, color matching, sampling, merchandise files, and order sheets.

This role will be expected to maintain relationships with suppliers and manage the team onsite to ensure on time deliveries. This merchandise will independently handle client accounts, manage sampling to shipment timelines, coordinate with production teams, and oversee client communication directly.

Key Responsibilities :

• End-to-end product development & order execution for U.S. clients
• Coordinate with sampling, printing, and production teams
• Create and monitor TNA calendars & production trackers
• Manage costing, trims, and vendor follow-ups
• Conduct quality checks before shipment
• Mentor assistant merchandisers

The Merchandiser role is an important part of the team and provides an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking for responsibility and growth in the design industry. The position will communicate regularly with our team in the United States via Zoom calls and Google Doc ledgers.
