About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced SAP Quality Excellence Manager to drive governance, compliance, and continuous improvement across our SAP landscape. The ideal candidate will be the assurance engine of our SAP Managed Services—ensuring every ticket, change, and deliverable meets the highest standards of accuracy, efficiency, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Incident Quality & Knowledge Management
- Audit SAP incidents weekly for categorization, RCA depth, and SLA compliance.
- Validate documentation such as KBAs, troubleshooting guides, and runbooks.
- Enforce Shift-Left strategy to minimize repeat incidents and improve first-time-fix rates.
Change & Release Governance
Review Change Requests (CRs) for proper documentation, approvals, and test evidence.Ensure adherence to entry / exit criteria and RACI gates.Monitor release readiness and post-deployment validations.Drive proactive quality checks to prevent production issues.PMO Advisory & Service Governance
Support program governance with RAID tracking, dependency management, and status reporting.Conduct CAB meetings and manage service-related risks.Ensure compliance with SLAs, SoX, and audit requirements.Lead periodic service review meetings with stakeholders.Continuous Improvement & Innovation
Identify and implement automation and process optimization opportunities.Manage the CSI (Continuous Service Improvement) backlog and measure delivered benefits.Drive productivity accelerators, best practice adoption, and service maturity.Performance Analytics & Insights
Create and publish dashboards on ticket trends, SLA adherence, and stability indicators.Analyze incidents and changes for business impact.Present insights and recommendations to leadership teams.Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
Act as the bridge between SAP Delivery teams and Business stakeholders.Conduct knowledge transfer sessions, workshops, and process coaching.Foster transparency and proactive communication across all levels.Required Skills & Experience
12–15 years of experience in SAP Implementation and Support (AMS / Managed Services).Strong understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release Management).Proven experience in Service Quality , Governance , PMO , or Delivery Assurance roles.Broad SAP functional / technical exposure across multiple modules.Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager , ServiceNow , or similar ITSM tools.Exposure to automation , process improvement , or Lean / Six Sigma initiatives is an advantage.Preferred Certifications
