Job Overview :
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Software Deployment & Support Engineer to join our team. This role involves building, deploying, testing, and supporting our application across customer environments. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in C++ and basic database knowledge, along with excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in our C++ application.
- Manage cross-platform deployments (Windows / Linux).
- Perform data handling tasks involving Excel sheets integrated with the application.
- Conduct functional testing and create structured reports based on test results.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure deployment readiness.
- Travel to customer locations to deploy and support the application on-site.
- Maintain and manage code versions using Git.
Required Qualifications & Skills :
Proficiency in debugging and working with C++ code.Basic working knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.Hands-on experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems.Hands-on experience with Excel for application-driven data handling.Experience with Git version control.Willingness and ability to travel to client sites for on-premise deployment and support.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.Preferred Qualifications (Bonus) :
Experience with the Qt framework for UI and application development.Prior experience in customer-facing roles or application support.Familiarity with scripting languages for automation tasks.Experience in writing user guides or technical documentation.
