Job Summary
We’re seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee end-to-end coordination with manufacturers, suppliers, and internal teams for timely procurement of pharmaceutical products.
The role involves obtaining competitive quotations, negotiating pricing, approving artworks, managing dossiers, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Vendor Management & Coordination
Identify and evaluate qualified manufacturers and suppliers.
Maintain long-term relationships and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Coordinate product availability, production timelines, and approvals.
2. Quotation Management & Negotiation
Float RFQs, analyze comparative offers, and negotiate for optimal cost efficiency.
Prepare price comparison sheets and maintain a quotation database.
3. Artwork & Packaging
Coordinate with manufacturers and design teams for artwork approvals.
Ensure compliance with buyer and country-specific labeling requirements.
4. Dossier & Regulatory Documentation
Coordinate with manufacturers for CTD / eCTD dossiers, COPPs, FSCs, COAs, etc.
Review dossier completeness and maintain regulatory documentation records.
5. Procurement Execution
Prepare POs, follow up on production and dispatch schedules.
Liaise with logistics and documentation teams for shipment coordination.
6. Cost & Margin Analysis
Maintain procurement cost sheets and track KPIs such as cost savings and on-time delivery.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with BD, QA, RA, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth execution.
Key Skills & Competencies
In-depth knowledge of pharma sourcing, dossiers, Formulation and export documentation .
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Strong command of Excel / Google Sheets for costing and comparison.
Understanding of WHO / EU GMP / MOH quality and compliance norms.
Detail-oriented with a collaborative and problem-solving mindset.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s / Master’s in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Business Administration.
MBA in Supply Chain / Operations (preferred).
Experience
5–10 years in pharmaceutical procurement, vendor management, or dossier coordination .
Prior experience in exports / formulation sourcing / contract manufacturing preferred.
