Job Description

• Monitor and control costs across business verticals and functions (fixed / variable / manpower, etc.)
• Suggest and drive cost optimising and profitable solutions
• Develop and maintain cost-effective strategies
• Prepare financial reports and present findings to the management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise cost efficiency
• Provide support in the development of annual budgets and forecasts
• Participate in financial audits and implement corrective actions as needed

The Successful Applicant

A successful System Cost Controller should have :

• A strong educational background in Accounting & Finance or a related field (CA or MBA)
• 8+ years of relevant work experience in cost / expense analytics
• Have driven cost control projection with involvement of multiple stakeholders and tangible / quantifiable outcomes
• A background in consulting having worked on cost reduction projects
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
• The ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
