Job Overview

  • Managing Taxation,TDS, Company ITR, Auditing.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

  • Supervision of monthlyTDS, TCS, GST payments and tax returns.
  • Calculation and timely paymentof Advance taxes and SA tax.
  • Validation of monthly / periodical incometax & deferredtax working for group reporting.
  • Advisory on day to day tax matters like TDS, TCS, GST and other Direct / Indirect tax matters.
  • Tax advisory / planning of intra group transactions, preferably from DTAA, MLI / BEPS perspective, and coordinating for revision / appeals on account of any favorable court rulings or legal development.
  • Engaging of local CA / Lawyer and coordinating for VAT / CST / GST routine assessments of all states.
  • Ensuring timely filing of objections to first appellate authorities for any unfavorable assessment orders.
  • Representation beforeMaharashtra sales tax authorities for special scrutiny.
  • Coordination with Deloittefor Income tax and transferpricing scrutiny / regular assessment.
  • Coordinating with auditors and getting tax audit (3CACD) and transfer pricing audit (3CEB) done in time.
  • Coordinating with group tax team, consultants and ensuringtimely compliance of Master File and CbCR reporting.
  • Coordinating with consultant and timely fillingof annual Incometax return (ITR).
  • Arranging necessary PoA and coordination with consultants for local tax compliances of group companies those assessable in India.
  • Guidance and supervision on tax refund applications and GST ITC.
  • Advisory / review of documents for special transactions pertains to HSS, SEZ and EPCG from taxation angle.
  • Advisory on varioustax incentives schemesunder FTP and DGFT policies.
  • Updating finance and business team on all tax amendments. Coordinating for necessarychanges in SAP.
  • Coordinating with legal department for necessary application for any advance ruling (AAR) and filling appeal or cross objections to second appellate authorities, Tax tribunal or High court(s) in relation to all tax dispute matters.
  • GST returns – GSTR -1, GSTR-3, GSTR 2A / 2B reconciliation ( 3 returns p.M X 10 states X 12 month = 360 returns)
  • Monthly TDS / TCS report run and paymentof tax liability to Govt.Account.
  • Filling of quarterlyTDS / TCS return and issuance of certificates to vendors / customer (F16 etc.)
  • Filling of GST annual returns( 10 states- 10 returns)
  • Engaging auditors and filling of GST audits(10 states-10 audit reports)
  • Filling of ITC annual / adjustment return
  • Preparing annexures and supporting on all indirecttax assessments.
  • Compliance to TDS / TCS,E-waybill notices raised by tax authorities.
  • Guide on E-waybill- portal and Deliverychallans to logisticteam.
  • Resolving customer GST issues and tax adjustments to debit / credit note.
  • Customization of SAP regards to changes in GST, TDS, TCS and other tax codes / rates.
  • Preparation of Anti-profiteering and other tax certificates for customer.
  • Application and obtaining LUT (for export exemption) and Tax clearancecertificates from tax deptartment for tenders.
  • Ensuringtimely amendments of GST, PAN, EXIM certificates and Govt. tax records for applicable changes.
  • Monthly compliance dashboard reporting to management.
  • Knowledge of SAP DCS module or equivalent
  • Experience in streamlining tax reporting & compliance
  • Appetence for AI

    • Minimum Requirements

  • C.A. with 10-12 yrs of experience in independently handling tax function.
  • Experience in handling direct & indirect tax both.
  • Candidate should be having industryexperience rather than consulting or audit firm experience.
  • Candidate should have strong communication skills & should be confident to deal with global team, consultants, leadership team & tax authorities.
