Senior Bid Manager Role
The successful Senior Bid Manager will oversee the entire B2B sales process, from the initial Request for Information (RFI) to the final bid submission. This involves working closely with onshore and offshore Sales / Account and Operations teams to deliver compelling proposals that meet the client's needs.
Bid Management Responsibilities
- Collaborate with New Business leads to develop a clear win strategy for each bid, identifying key strengths and areas of alignment with the client's goals.
- Lead the bid team in articulating bid response expectations and ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
- Develop compelling win themes that differentiate the proposal, highlighting past successes and market competitiveness.
- Strategically plan and coordinate bid timelines, assign roles, and ensure all team members meet deadlines.
- Engage and collaborate with cross-functional bid teams, assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion.
- Contribute to Solutioning and Commercial discussions, providing expert input where possible.
- Oversee bid writing and content creation, ensuring clarity and persuasiveness in proposal development.
- Ensure accurate cost breakdowns and pricing strategies are implemented, considering profitability and market competitiveness.
- Compliance management : Ensure bids adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements of the tendering process.
- Organize reviews to refine the proposal, ensuring consistency and a compelling final product.
Content Management Skills
Expert knowledge in technical and functional specifications related to advertising / content production / retail activation.Prepare and review various aspects of pitch responses, ensuring all services are included.Regularly refresh data repositories with updated case studies and company information.Team Leadership
Be an internal source of expertise in creative production and retail activation operations, supporting team members in responding to RFI / RFP requirements.Assign job flows from regions, support and mentor team members, and drive continuous improvement through best practices.
