About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated PHP Developer to join our dynamic fintech product team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about backend development, enjoys solving complex problems, and wants to grow in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

As part of our engineering team, you will work on building secure, scalable, and high-performance applications that power our fintech solutions and help shape the future of digital financial services.

Must-Have Technical Skills :

• Strong expertise in Advanced PHP, Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs), and MVC Architecture
• Hands-on experience with Laravel or CodeIgniter frameworks
• Proficiency in SQL, query writing, and database optimization
• Experience working with Git, version control workflows, and collaborative development
• Knowledge of REST APIs, backend architecture, and integrations
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and backend design Skills :
• Exposure to PL / SQL, stored procedures
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to collaborate effectively with the frontend team
• Experience working in fintech, payment gateways, or financial API integrations

Key Job Responsibilities :

1. Backend Development :

Design, develop, and deploy high-quality backend solutions using PHP frameworks. You will be responsible for writing clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices.

2. Database Design & Optimization :

Create robust database schemas, optimize SQL queries for performance, and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval across all application modules.

3. Security & Compliance :

Implement secure coding practices, ensure data protection, and maintain compliance with applicable security standards especially crucial when working with fintech products and financial data.

4. API & Payment Gateway Integration :

Work on API integrations with banks, financial institutions, and payment gateways. Ensure smooth communication between different system layers and external partners.

5. Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning :

Identify root causes of application issues, implement fixes, and proactively improve system performance, speed, and stability.

6. Innovation & Continuous Learning :

Stay updated with the latest PHP trends, advancements, and emerging technologies. Contribute to continuous product improvement and new feature development.

7. Collaboration & Code Reviews :

Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders. Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to a clean, scalable codebase.
