Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior PHP Developer located in Kochi. The Senior PHP Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications using PHP and related technologies. Day-to-day tasks involve writing clean, well-documented, and efficient code, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and design new features, troubleshooting and resolving performance issues, and ensuring code quality through code reviews and testing.

Qualifications

Proficient in PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript

Experience with web frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter

Strong understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like jQuery

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git

Experience with database design and management

Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Solid understanding of web security best practices

Bachelor's degree in Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred

Good communication and teamwork skills

Experience with Agile software development methodologies is a plus

Experience in React / Node will be added advantage
