Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Software Development Engineer (C++ – SDE 3 / 4) based in Bengaluru, with some work from home acceptable. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using C++ and other relevant technologies. Daily tasks will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing robust and efficient code, and ensuring the scalability and performance of software systems.

What You’ll Own

Provide technical leadership in planning and executing projects.

Design, develop, and maintain high-performing backend systems and services.

Analyze project requirements and deliver technical and functional recommendations.

Ensure system reliability, high availability, and production-grade code quality.

Perform system failure analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Evaluate and recommend improvements in engineering processes and best practices.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and adopt innovations to enhance performance and scalability.

Write optimized, high-performing database queries and handle large-scale concurrent requests (10K+).

Mentor junior developers, freshers, and interns, identifying proof-of-concept tasks to promote continuous learning.

Who You Are

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) with 8–10 years of professional software development experience.

Strong expertise in C++, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and multithreading.

Exposure to Java is preferred.

Experience working in a trading or fintech company is highly desirable.

Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, software design, and computer science fundamentals.

Hands-on experience with Linux, Git, Agile practices, CI / CD, and modern testing methodologies.

Proven ability to build and maintain systems handling 10K+ concurrent requests.

Strong analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, and adaptability.

Experience in end-to-end architecture design and working with scalable frameworks.

Exposure to AI / ML concepts and their application in intelligent, data-driven systems is a plus.
