Sub-System Manager LOB (Life on Board)

Could you be the full-time Project Manager in Bangalore were looking for

Take on a new challenge and apply your project management and cross-functional coordination expertise in a cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative and results-driven teammates.

Youll play a pivotal role in managing and delivering sub-system activities that meet customer needs while achieving Quality Cost Delivery and Performance (QCDP) objectives. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering R&D Sourcing Supply Chain and RAMS) ensure alignment with project-level stakeholders and contribute to risk and opportunity management.

Youll specifically take care of sub-system planning monitoring and reporting but also lead teams in achieving project objectives and manage interfaces with other sub-systems and project stakeholders.

Well look to you for :

Applying project strategies to meet contractual commitments and project targets for the sub-system.

Coordinating and supporting cross-functional execution of sub-system activities and deliverables.

Ensuring compliance with applicable rules standards and processes including EHS Railway Safety and Quality.

Cascading and allocating sub-system requirements and objectives to team members.

Managing sub-system activities end-to-end including scope schedule resources cost risks and opportunities.

Representing Alstom towards customers and external stakeholders when delegated.

Masters or Bachelors degree in a relevant field.

Experience as a manager of an operational scope (minimum 2 years).

Understanding of project management processes and cross-functional coordination.

Familiarity with working in multi-national companies and diverse business cultures.

IPMA Level D certification (or equivalent) is desirable.

Knowledge of the Alstom way of working is a plus.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Result-oriented mindset with the ability to synchronize multi-site / multi-disciplinary teams.
