Position : SAP SD Consultant

Location : REMOTE

Contract Position

Seeking candidates with at least 7-11 years' experience.
Must have experience in at least 1 full-cycle SAP SD implementations.
Strong understanding of integration points with SAP MM, FI, and other modules.

We are seeking a Senior SAP SD Consultant to join a high-stakes spin-off program aimed at separating and re-establishing end-to-end business processes within a newly formed organization. The role demands deep proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and proven experience leading complex transformation projects involving cross-system integrations, data migration, and system reconfiguration. You will play a key role in defining the new commercial landscape by aligning SAP SD capabilities with business goals and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the full cycle of requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment for SAP SD processes.

Partner with business stakeholders to analyze sales workflows and propose optimized solutions based on SAP best practices.

Configure and enhance SD functionalities including order management, delivery, pricing, billing, and shipping.

Collaborate closely with SAP functional and technical teams (MM, FI, ABAP, etc.) to ensure integrated and robust business solutions.

Support data migration activities and interface mapping during system separation and rollout.

Provide post-implementation support, issue resolution, and continuous system optimization.

Create high-quality documentation including functional designs, process flows, and user training materials.

Facilitate workshops, lead UAT sessions, and drive end-user adoption through effective training and communication.

Contribute to change management initiatives and ongoing process improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP SD experience, including configuration and functional design.

Experience leading at least one full-cycle SAP SD implementation.

Strong understanding of integration points across SAP MM, FI, and related modules.

Proficient in customizing and troubleshooting SAP SD processes.

Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Strong stakeholder management and ability to work independently in a high-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

SAP certification in SD.

Hands-on experience with both SAP ECC and S / 4HANA environments.

Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project delivery models.

Exposure to global rollouts or multi-country implementations
