State Head - Bancassurance
Job Description :
The State Head - Bancassurance is a senior leadership role responsible for the overall strategy and performance of the bancassurance channel within a specific state.
This role involves managing relationships with partner banks, driving business growth through their branch network, and leading a team of bancassurance managers and executives.
The State Head is accountable for achieving the state's business targets and expanding the partnership's reach.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Planning : Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan for the state's bancassurance channel.
- Partnership Management : Build and nurture a strong relationship with the regional and state leadership of partner banks.
- Team Leadership : Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team of bancassurance managers and sales executives.
- Performance Management : Monitor and analyze performance metrics against targets, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Market Expansion : Identify new growth opportunities and expand the bancassurance channel's footprint across the state.
- Training & Development : Ensure the bank's front-line staff are well-trained on insurance products and sales processes.
- Compliance : Ensure all sales activities are in compliance with regulatory guidelines and company Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- An MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in sales and business development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the bancassurance or financial services sector.
- Proven track record of managing a large-scale sales channel and achieving targets.
- Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
