Mainframe Developer

Mainframe Knowledge :

Understanding of mainframe architecture and operations. z / OS Operating System :

Proficiency in z / OS, including its components and functionalities.

JCL (Job Control Language) :

Ability to write and manage JCL scripts for job processing.

TSO / ISPF : Experience with Time Sharing Option / Interactive System Productivity Facility for interacting with the z / OS system.

RACF (Resource Access Control Facility) : Knowledge of security and access control using RACF.

SDSF (System Display and Search Facility) : Skills in monitoring and managing system resources.

Programming Languages : Proficiency in languages such as COBOL, PL / I, Assembler, and REXX.

Database Management : Experience with mainframe databases like DB2 and IMS.

Problem Solving : Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving system issues.

Networking : Understanding of mainframe networking concepts and protocols.

System Utilities : Familiarity with various z / OS utilities and tools.

Performance Tuning : Skills in optimizing system performance and resource utilization.

Documentation : Ability to create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
