The Junior Accounts Officer for CSR will assist in the management and execution of financial activities related to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. This role will ensure proper accounting, compliance with policies, and timely reporting of CSR expenditures, ensuring alignment with corporate social responsibility goals.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Financial Record Keeping & Reporting :
Assist in the preparation of CSR financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain and reconcile CSR-related accounts, including tracking donations, sponsorships, and other contributions.
Monitor CSR budgets and ensure all expenditures are within allocated budgets.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements related to CSR activities.
1. Transaction Management :
Ensure all CSR-related transactions are recorded accurately in the accounting system.
Verify invoices and receipts related to CSR projects, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and NGOs to facilitate smooth financial transactions for CSR projects.
1. Compliance and Documentation :
Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and company requirements regarding CSR spending and reporting.
Assist in audits related to CSR projects, providing required documentation and reports.
Maintain comprehensive records of CSR activities, ensuring all documentation is properly filed for future reference and audits.
1. Budget Monitoring :
Assist in the preparation of annual CSR budgets.
Regularly track and review CSR expenses against the budget, providing insights to the CSR Manager or Finance team for adjustments.
1. Stakeholder Coordination :
Coordinate with internal departments, such as HR, Marketing, and Legal, to ensure effective CSR project execution.
Work closely with the CSR team to track project progress and funding utilization.
1. Data Analysis & Reporting :
Compile data on CSR activities for internal reports, meetings, and presentations.
Track the impact of CSR projects and assist in preparing reports for senior management.
Skills & Qualifications :
Education :
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience :
1-2 years of experience in accounts, finance, or CSR-related roles.
Fresh graduates with strong financial knowledge may also be considered.
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, etc.).
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other office tools.
