A Day in Your Life at MKS :
The NOC Engineer provides advanced troubleshooting and resolution for escalated incidents. This role involves deeper analysis, applying fixes or workarounds, and ensuring service restoration within SLA. This role requires working a 24 / 7 rotational shift.
You Will Make an Impact By :
- Investigate and resolve incidents escalated by Level 1.
- Perform advanced diagnostics using logs, configurations, and scripts.
- Apply fixes or temporary workarounds to restore services.
- Escalate critical or widespread issues to Incident Manager.
- Collaborate with application, network, and infrastructure teams during major incidents.
- Document troubleshooting steps and resolution details.
- Contribute to knowledge base and SOP improvements.
Skills You Bring :
Strong knowledge of Windows / Linux OS and networking fundamentals.Good knowledge of AWS, Azure, Cloud computing.Experience with monitoring and ITSM tools.Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot application / service issues.Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python preferred).Good communication and problem-solving skills.Bachelors degree in IT / Computer Science.36 years of experience in NOC or IT operations.(ref : hirist.tech)
