Position : Prompt Engineer – GenAI Applications

Role Overview

We are seeking highly creative and analytical Prompt Engineers to join our Generative AI product teams at QualiZeal. In this role, you will design, refine, and optimize prompting strategies that power our next-generation AI applications, including QMentisAI.

You will work at the intersection of natural language, AI model behavior, and user experience, experimenting with different prompting techniques to maximize accuracy, reliability, and creativity. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, agile thinker, and thought leader who can translate complex requirements into effective AI interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prompt Engineering & Optimization
• Design, test, and refine prompts and prompt chains for diverse Generative AI use cases (content generation, test automation, defect reporting, etc.).
• Apply advanced prompting techniques including zero-shot, few-shot, chain-of-thought, self-consistency, role-based prompting, and RAG-aware prompts.
• Continuously evaluate prompt performance and optimize for accuracy, reliability, bias reduction, and hallucination control.
• Collaboration & Integration
• Work with AI engineers, developers, and product teams to embed effective prompts into applications and workflows.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering SMEs to design prompts for test case generation, bug triage, and process automation.
• Partner with UX / UI designers to align AI outputs with user experience goals.
