Key Responsibilities
Processes
Ensure adherence to the Bank's frameworks, policies, and standards in identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting of operational risks for the processes in ERM including recording in M7 system.
Ensure key frameworks and policies (ORTF, DQMF, Model Risk, TPRM, Compliance Risk Type Framework, etc.) are implemented effectively within the department and provide quality assurance on the design of the control measures and monitoring plans.
Work with the respective Global Process Owners to ensure risks identified in the processes are mitigated via effective controls designed which are monitored at regular frequencies.
Engage with the Group Operational Risk Officer(s) and Risk Framework Owners to ensure appropriate independent reviews have been completed and the feedback / gaps addressed by the Global process owners.
Support GPO and teams in completing the Annual / Trigger Event RCSA Review
Identifying non-standard processes, report to Group Process Owner / delegate to support them in implementing appropriate control mechanisms.
Having regular dialogue with key stakeholders to keep abreast of issues, process & product changes, regulatory changes, new policies, compliance reviews and audits.
Collaborate with Group Process Owner / delegate on their processes guiding them on RRAs, RCSA, CST / KCI / KRI findings, etc.
Support Governance RFO as 2nd LoD to review and challenge Enterprise Stress Testing independent testing performed by 1LoD.
Represent the department in various forums / meetings on all matters pertaining to Operational Effectiveness
Project Management and delivery of key projects within the enterprise risk team (if any)
Risk Management
Take personal responsibility for understanding the risk and compliance requirements of my role.
Understand and comply with applicable laws and regulations, the Groups policies, procedures, and the Group Code of Conduct.
Effectively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk and compliance matters.
Contribute to a culture in which all stakeholders feel safe to raise concerns and where risk and compliance matters are addressed, and misconduct appropriately dealt with.
Governance
Review independent control testing undertaken by Group Risk Enterprise Risk Management under the Operational Risk Framework (ORF).
Monthly KPI report preparation and reporting to Head, Operational Effectiveness.
Providing 2LOD inputs to relevant stakeholders for assurance papers which is submitted to GSTF, GRC, BRC and other forums as required
Regulatory & Business Conduct

Qualifications
Education-Bachelor's degree and master's from a recognised university
Training-Min 15 years working experience in banking operational risk management or related field
Languages-English (primary)
Skills and Experience
1LOD / 2LOD experience in risk
Experience in control testing
Report writing
Microsoft Programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
