Role : A Technical Product Manager (TPM) is a Product Champion. TPM ensures the product solves user needs, achieves business objectives, and maintains technical integrity. This innovative role needs mastery in agile software development, uses Lean Product, User-Centered Design, and Extreme Programming (XP) practices to deliver value to the customers with very fast cycles. The Technical Product Manager role involves working with a UX designer, pairs of engineers, and a group of stakeholders which are domain experts on the application’s needs. TPM leverages modern Lean Product practices to deliver innovative solutions for the customers. To be successful, a Technical Product Manager should have a good balance of technical, product, and business skills.
Responsibilities :
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Facilitation skills and knowledge on team dynamics
- Facilitation and responsibility of daily standup meetings to track progress
- Schedule and facilitate agile ceremonies for sprint planning demos and retrospectives.
- Help the Agile team manage their progress via transparent backlog and board overviews
- Help solve impediments in an Agile team context with inputs from Business Owner or Product Owner
- Drive Agile Teams vendors and customers in the client Agile way of working
- Help the Agile team manage their progress via transparent backlog and board overviews Maintain relevant team metrics and follow-up on team measurements
- Facilitate and support the Agile team to deliver according to agreements
- Schedule and facilitate agile ceremonies for sprint planning demos and retrospectives.
- Should have very good communication skills
- Should be able to assess and analyze work with client independently
- Industry accredited Agile certifications like CSM, SAFe SA, CSPO etc.
