A leading General Insurance company is hiring for the position of Area Manager – Agency Channel (Motor Insurance). The role involves managing and growing a team of Motor Insurance Advisors to drive business in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities :
- Recruit and develop a team of Motor Insurance Advisors.
- Provide timely product knowledge, regular training, and field support to the advisor team.
- Motivate, mentor, and guide advisors to achieve their individual and team sales targets.
- Conduct regular training programs and skill-development sessions for enhanced understanding of motor insurance products.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and licensing of advisors as per regulatory guidelines.
- Generate consistent business through the recruited advisors by driving performance and productivity.
- Maintain strong market presence and manage channel partner relationships effectively.
Required Candidate Profile :
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in agency sales, preferably in general insurance (motor insurance experience is a plus).Proven track record in recruitment and development of insurance advisors.Candidates from insurance, BFSI, or motor sales background will be preferred.Graduation is mandatory.Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills required.Must have a stable work history and target-oriented mindset.Skills Required
