Senior Federal Proposal Strategist
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Federal Proposal Strategist to lead our bid capture and win strategies for high-value US government contracts. Reporting directly to our Vice President of Business Development, you will create compelling proposals that address complex Statements of Work (SOWs) and navigate the intricacies of federal procurement.
Key Responsibilities
Opportunity Pipeline Mastery : Identify and qualify high-potential deals on SAM.gov and FedBizOpps, focusing on IT services under 8(a) and GSA set-asides.
Bid Strategy Leadership : Develop capture plans, conduct SWOT analyses, and orchestrate team efforts to build winning proposals.
SOW & Compliance Expertise : Author and refine SOWs that align with FAR / DFARS regulations, ensuring compliance while highlighting our IT expertise.
Win Rate Enhancement : Collaborate with sales leads to refine pricing strategies and oral proposal prep—aiming for improved win rates.
Market Intelligence : Stay ahead of federal trends and recommend partnerships to expand our footprint.
Remote Collaboration : Thrive in a virtual environment using tools like Microsoft Teams, Asana, and SharePoint, with flexible IST hours.
What We're Looking For
Proven Track Record : 8+ years in US federal proposal management or GovCon BD, with hands-on wins in IT services under SBA 8(a) or GSA IT schedules.
Technical Acumen : Deep knowledge of federal acquisition processes, including ORCA / FPDS reporting and evaluation criteria.
Strategic Mindset : Analytical skills to translate complex RFPs into compelling narratives; experience in agile proposal development.
Communication Pro : Excellent business English (written & verbal), influencing C-suite execs and virtual teams.
India-Based Remote Fit : Permanent resident in India, self-motivated for async work, and tech-equipped for secure remote ops.
