Role & responsibilities -

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and  oversee bidding activities on Upwork, Guru, Freelancer, and similar platforms.
  • Identify and pursue potential business opportunities through effective bidding strategies.
  • Write compelling proposals and customize responses based on client requirements.
  • Negotiate and finalize deals with clients to secure long-term business relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align proposals with company capabilities and project feasibility.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients for repeat business.
  • Track, analyze, and report bidding performance, success rates, and revenue generation.
  • Stay updated with platform policies, bidding trends, and competitor strategies.

Required Qualifications :

  • 3 to 7 years of experience in online bidding and business development.
  • Proven track record of generating revenue through bidding on platforms like Upwork, Guru, Freelancer, etc.
  • Strong understanding of IT / software services and project requirements.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to craft persuasive and customized proposals.
  • Strong negotiation and client-handling skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and bid tracking systems is a plus.
