Role Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Agency Manager to lead agency operations in Ahmedabad. The incumbent will be responsible for driving business growth through agency networks, achieving sales targets, and nurturing long-term client and partner relationships. The role demands strong leadership in recruiting, training, and mentoring insurance agents, ensuring compliance, and fostering a performance-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute agency business strategies to drive revenue and achieve sales objectives.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor insurance agents to build a strong and productive agency network.
- Monitor and evaluate agent performance, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching for growth.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, processes, and regulatory guidelines.
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships to drive retention and cross-sell opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal sales leadership to align business strategies and support organizational goals.
- Drive market intelligence initiatives to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Foster a high-performance culture through continuous engagement, recognition, and development.
Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).5-8 years of experience in sales and distribution management, preferably in the insurance or BFSI sector.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding distribution networks.Strong expertise in agent recruitment, training, and performance management.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.In-depth knowledge of insurance products, industry practices, and compliance frameworks (preferred).(ref : iimjobs.com)
