Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled

Automation Test Engineer

with strong hands-on experience in

Selenium WebDriver

and

Java . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality of our software applications. You should have a deep understanding of test automation frameworks, CI / CD integration, and a solid grasp of software testing principles.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks using

Selenium WebDriver

and

Java .

Develop and execute automated test cases for web-based applications.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA leads to identify test requirements and ensure test coverage.

Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as part of an Agile development team.

Integrate automated tests into

CI / CD pipelines

(e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).

Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like

JIRA

or similar.

Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on automation best practices.

Continuously optimize test scripts for reliability, performance, and maintainability.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

4 to 7 years of experience in

Test Automation

with strong proficiency in

Java .

Hands-on experience with

Selenium WebDriver , TestNG or JUnit.

Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks (Data Driven, Keyword Driven, Hybrid, etc.).

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.

Experience with

Maven / Gradle , Git, and version control systems.

Experience with

CI / CD tools

(e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI).

Knowledge of RESTful API automation (using RestAssured, Postman, or similar tools).

Familiarity with

BDD tools

like Cucumber is a plus.

Good understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
