Role Overview

The AD – Business Strategy & M&A will be part of the CEO’s office, responsible for driving strategic initiatives, supporting decision-making, and ensuring execution of high-impact projects. The role will include evaluating and executing opportunities in business strategy, partnerships, and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to enable innovation and growth in the higher education space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic projects and initiatives from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Drive evaluation of partnerships, investments, and M&A opportunities, including market scans, financial assessments, and due diligence.
  • Conduct market, industry, and competitor analyses to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of strategic priorities.
  • Track and report progress on key initiatives, highlighting risks, challenges, and mitigation plans.
  • Prepare high-quality presentations, business cases, and strategy documents for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree from a reputed institution.
  • Relevant experience in business strategy, corporate strategy, management consulting, or investment / M&A roles.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading cross-functional strategic initiatives.
  • Strong financial acumen, with exposure to valuation, deal structuring, or due diligence preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in education, services, or digital sectors is a plus.
