About the Role

The role of the Principal Software Engineer requires an extensive background in Software Development, in particular with Java and ideally with Angular as well. You have experience with security, performance and scalability of applications. At the same time, you should be familiar with or have a strong interest in Operations and DevOps, as you will be part of a team which bridges the gap between the Delivery, DevOps and Architecture teams. You will be communicating with different stakeholders and leading initiatives to improve both the satisfaction of customers as well as engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer technical support and guidance to the development team, ensuring the adoption of best practices, sound architectural choices, and code excellence.
• Craft clean, effective, and sustainable code, aligning with industry-standard coding practices.
• Collaborate seamlessly with diverse teams to comprehend system elements, interdependencies, and implementation requirements.
• Conduct code reviews to guarantee adherence to coding standards, unearth enhancement opportunities, and provide mentorship to team members.
• Tackle intricate technical hurdles and performance concerns, presenting inventive remedies. Swiftly troubleshoot and resolve production issues to prevent service disruptions.
• Ensure punctual delivery of top-notch software.
• Drive projects through all phases : From the initial idea, proof-of-concepts, implementation all the way to the successful implementation, testing, documentation and training.
• Direct initiatives for continuous improvement, optimizing development procedures, elevating software quality, and boosting team efficiency.
