Job descriptionTrim and arrange footage segments to create a coherent and compelling sequence. Apply transitions, effects, graphics, and text overlays as required. Ensure logical sequencing, smooth flow, and professional presentation of videos. Work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative concepts. Provide input during pre-production and production phases to enhance final output Review shooting scripts and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scene Create both rough and final cuts for review and approval. Enhance audio quality, synchronize sound and visuals, and mix audio tracks. Seamlessly integrate graphics, animations, and effects into final videos. Perform thorough quality checks on videos to ensure they meet technical and creative Identify and correct any errors, inconsistencies, or visual issues. Manage and organize digital assets, raw footage, and media libraries efficiently. Meet project deadlines and manage multiple editing assignments simultaneously. Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders on project progress, Bachelor’s degree in Media, Film, Communication, or related field (or equivalent Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and export settings. Knowledge of audio mixing, color correction, and motion graphics is a plus. Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
