Key Responsibilities :
1. Procurement & Vendor Management
- Develop, implement, and maintain purchasing strategies aligned with the organization’s operational needs.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings and quality assurance.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and address supplier issues effectively.
2. Purchase Operations
Oversee the end-to-end purchase process — from requisition to delivery.Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies.Track and monitor purchase requests to ensure timely procurement.Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal control policies and audit requirements.3. Inventory & Material Control
Coordinate with store and accounts departments to maintain optimal inventory levels.Conduct periodic audits of stock and material usage.Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of purchase data.4. Cost Control & Budgeting
Develop annual purchase budgets and monitor expenditure.Identify opportunities for cost optimization through vendor consolidation and bulk buying.Prepare regular MIS reports for management review.5. Compliance & Quality
Ensure all materials and services procured meet the organization’s standards of quality.Maintain compliance with statutory, safety, and environmental regulations.Evaluate vendor performance periodically.Qualifications & Experience :
Proven expertise in vendor negotiation, cost control, and purchase planning.Working knowledge in Civil Projects & Structural Maintenance .Skills & Competencies :
Strong negotiation and analytical skills.Sound knowledge of procurement processes and ERP / POS systems.Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.Integrity, transparency, and a result-oriented mindset.Proficiency in MS Office and purchase management software.Work Environment :
Office-based role with coordination between departments, vendors, and management.May require occasional site or vendor visits.
