Job Summary :

SBM Offshore, a global leader in ocean infrastructure, is seeking a Data Steward with a minimum of 3 years of experience in data management or governance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and security of data within our IFS (ERP) system.

This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with data governance policies, supporting seamless data integration, and optimizing business processes through data expertise. You will be a key player in advancing our core business through disciplined data management.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage the integration and harmonization of data between the IFS system and other enterprise applications, ensuring data consistency and accuracy across all platforms.
• Lead and manage Vendor data management, including the creation, updating, blocking, and unblocking of vendor records, while ensuring a smooth interface with legacy systems.
• Handle Part management, overseeing the creation of both master parts and residual parts within the Integra system to maintain a standardized data taxonomy.
• Implement and enforce comprehensive data governance policies and standards for the IFS system to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Conduct regular and meticulous data audits to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data, and proactively identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Ensure strict adherence to data security measures, collaborating with IT and compliance teams to maintain proper data access controls and safeguards.
• Propose and implement continuous improvements to enhance data reliability, system performance, and overall data management processes.
