We are seeking an Automation Control Engineer to program and configure control systems in a manufacturing environment. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of automation devices and providing technical support for field installations and startups.
Role & Responsibilities
- Possess proficiency in PLCs, operator interface programs, and variable frequency drives .
- Have a strong working knowledge of how automation devices operate and interact in manufacturing environments.
- Be able to program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and drives .
- Possess an in-depth understanding of field sensors , including flow, temperature, pressure, and level transmitters.
- Be capable of providing field service and technical support .
- Possess knowledge of sanitary and industrial processes (e.g., CIP, SIP, DI water) and their application in system design.
- Be involved hands-on in field installations and start-up support for assigned projects.
- Supervise control panel fabrication when required.
- Conduct equipment training sessions for clients and create installation documentation.
Skills Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics).Proficient in PLC and HMI programming (experience with Allen Bradley systems essential).Familiarity with SCADA systems (preferably FactoryTalk) and VBA.Understanding of SQL databases and reporting tools (e.g., XL Reporter).Willingness to travel frequently , both domestically and internationally.Project management experience is an added advantageSkills Required
