Job descriptionEducation : A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in digital transformation / project management are highly valued. Experience : 15+ years of experience in digital solution development, with at least 5 years in the oil and gas sector. Proven track record in leading digital transformation and large-scale initiatives is essential. Technical Expertise : Strong knowledge of digital technologies (software development, IoT, cloud) is necessary. Familiarity with industry-specific platforms is an advantage. Project Management : Skilled in Agile, SAFe, or managed services delivery models. Analytical Skills : Strong data-driven decision-making and process improvement capabilities. Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Travel : Willingness to travel to client locations across India as needed.
As a Digital Transformation Expert in the oil field services domain, you will lead initiatives that enhance field operations and drive performance improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy and Leadership : Define and execute digital strategies aligned with customer goals and field service needs in the oil and gas sector.
- Client Engagement : Serve as the primary contact for key clients, ensuring delivery of high-quality, tailored digital solutions.
- Project Oversight : Lead end-to-end digital project lifecycles, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and scope-aligned execution.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams, clients, and technology partners to gather requirements and ensure successful solution deployment.
- Team Leadership : Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment with strong leadership and mentoring.
- Innovation : Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in oil and gas; recommend and implement enhancements.
- Training & Support : Develop and oversee training programs aligned with both tactical and strategic goals to ensure effective tool adoption.
