Our Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice focuses on risk management, regulatory, quantitative, and technology backgrounds. The breadth of experiences of FSRM professionals enables the practice to coordinate the delivery of a broad array of risk management services to capital market participants throughout the world in a well-integrated manner.
Key Responsibilities :
- Database Development & Maintenance : Develop and maintain complex databases and data sets to support risk analysis and reporting functions.
- Data Architecture : Build and optimize data architecture for large dataset retrieval, analysis, storage, cleansing, and transformation to enhance data accessibility and usability.
- Data Management : Manage large data sets utilizing tools such as Hadoop, ensuring efficient processing and retrieval of data for analysis.
- Data Visualization : Utilize data visualization tools to create insightful dashboards and reports that effectively communicate risk analysis findings to stakeholders.
- Oracle Development : Work as an Oracle developer or with Oracle databases and Oracle Cloud to support data management and analytics initiatives.
- Data Analytics Tools : Leverage data analytics tools such as Alteryx and Tableau to perform in-depth analysis and generate actionable insights.
- Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with risk management Bachelor's / Master's degree in Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in risk analysis, financial crime, or sanctions.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining complex databases and data sets.
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles and experience optimizing for large datasets.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Experience managing large data sets using tools such as Hadoop.
- Proficiency as an Oracle developer or with Oracle databases and Oracle Cloud.
- Experience with data analytics tools such as Alteryx and Tableau.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Should be flexible working on UK hours
