Senior Accountant

We are currently supporting a fast-growing U.S.-headquartered security software company in their search for a Senior Accountant . This is a remote role based in India , offering exposure to global finance operations and the opportunity to contribute directly to the company’s growth in a high-paced technology environment.

The Senior Accountant will report to the Assistant Controller and play a key role in strengthening financial processes, ensuring compliance, and driving efficiencies within the accounting function.

Key Responsibilities

Work with the Assistant Controller to develop, implement, and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls.

Oversee core accounting operations, including treasury, AP, AR, payroll, credit cards, and fixed assets .

Manage customer and vendor communications regarding account queries, payments, and outstanding balances.

Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting .

Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Prepare ad-hoc reports and financial analyses for management, investors, and external stakeholders.

Collaborate effectively in a fully remote environment, ensuring strong cross-functional communication.

Leverage tools such as Excel, QuickBooks, Bill.com, Maxio, Navan, and Avalara to manage financial operations.

Candidate Profile

Chartered Accountant qualification is required.

6–8 years of progressive accounting experience.

Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex financial modeling.

Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Bill.com, or similar platforms .

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to drive process improvements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Prior experience in a technology or software company is a plus.
