Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in South Delhi. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and conducting financial analysis. Daily tasks include reconciling bank statements, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, preparing tax returns, and supporting budget preparation. Additionally, the Accountant will collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business decisions.

Carry out daily account entry and weekly update and cross check for Tally.

Prepare and track monthly budget

Track contracts, terms, billing and payment follow up with clients

Compliance of taxes and returns including preparation of challan and filing of returns for GST / PF / IT

Tracking of all purchase and vendor management services including quotation and finalization

Banking compliance and correspondence including filing of LUT / OD / CC / transactions and compliance.

Day to day petty cash expenses and accounting.

Filing of personal ITR for the Management

Monitoring of all office expenses (petty cash / pantry / equipment & software expenses)

Staff salaries, computation and compliance

Coordination with company CA and assistance in all filing and compliance

Corporate travel management (ticket booking / visa filing / hotel booking etc.)

Qualifications

Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus

Experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry is advantageous

Minimum 5 years experience required
