Role Overview
The Senior Executive - HR (Generalist) will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and compliance. This role acts as a key enabler of a positive employee experience and supports business teams in achieving HR operational and strategic goals.
The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of experience in HR operations or generalist roles, preferably within FMCG, manufacturing, or retail sectors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment cycles – sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
- Coordinate onboarding and induction programs for new hires.
- Maintain hiring trackers and ensure timely closure of open positions.
2. Employee Engagement & Relations
Drive employee engagement initiatives and welfare activities.Serve as a point of contact for employee grievances and resolve issues proactively.Conduct stay interviews, exit interviews, and analyze feedback for retention insights.3. Performance & HR Operations
Support in implementation and tracking of performance management systems (PMS).Maintain employee records, HRIS, and documentation as per company standards.Coordinate with department heads for timely appraisal submissions and reviews.4. Payroll & Compliance
Collate attendance and leave data for payroll processing.Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment, etc.).Liaise with finance and auditors for HR-related documentation.5. Learning & Development
Assist in identifying training needs and organizing development programs.Track participation and feedback for training sessions.Support leadership and cross-functional workshops.6. Policy Implementation & Reporting
Ensure adherence to company HR policies and employee handbook.Maintain HR dashboards and MIS reports on key HR metrics.Support audits and documentation for HR processes.Required Qualifications
Experience & Background
Experience : 3–5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Executive.Industry Preference : FMCG, manufacturing, or retail sectors.Functional Expertise : HR operations, recruitment, employee engagement, and compliance.Educational Qualifications
Essential : Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or Commerce.Preferred : MBA / PGDM in Human Resources.Technical & Functional Skills
Proficiency in HRMS tools (Zoho People, Keka, GreytHR preferred).Understanding of payroll, compliance, and employee lifecycle processes.Strong Excel, documentation, and reporting skills.Leadership & Soft Skills
