Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled IT Operations Specialist to join our team and manage the VS Code application within Windows environment. The IT Operations will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of the VSCode application. The ideal candidate will have 3- 5 years of experience in IT operations, with a focus on ITIL (Incident, Problem and Change Management) and application management.

Key Responsibilities :

Administration of VSCode :

• Configure and manage VS Code settings, extensions, and workspace templates for development teams.
• Create and distribute standardized development environments using Dev Containers, WSL, or Remote SSH.
• Integrate VS Code with source control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps).
• Support(L1) developers with VS Code-related issues and troubleshooting (plugins, debugging, configuration).
• Manage user profiles, extensions, themes, and keyboard shortcuts for consistency across teams.
• Monitor and evaluate new VS Code features and extensions for potential adoption.
• Document best practices, configuration guidelines, and troubleshooting steps.
• Support integration with CI / CD pipelines and code-quality tools.
